I'm installing some software on my laptop (which I have been using
and installing software on for over two years with no problems) but
now I'm getting this message at the end of the install.......
Error 1406 Could not write value installed to key
\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\OptionalComponets\MSFS
Verify that you have sufficient access to that key

I tried (in regedit) to change the access permissions of these keys but I'm getting
strange results. Like it creates duplicate user accounts in the list with the
"not inherited" labels" and the software install still gives the same error msg ?
I must not be doing this right. Any advice ?
