When I boot up I get my log in screen and I log in then I
get the message cchange paging and it tells me how to,
but my problem is it will not let me into so I can get to
my computer just returns to the log in screen. Does any
one have any suggestions? Would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

- Have you changed anything recently?
- How much free space do you have on the drive where
the paging file resides?

You can answer the second question by booting the machine
with a Win98 boot disk (www.bootdisk.com), then running
this command from www.sysinternals.com to gain read-only
access to your NTFS partition:

ntfsdos /L:EFG

Now type dir E:\ and check how much free space
you have (assuming that E: is your NTFS drive).

You said you can get logged in ?

Can you get to the Run box from the start menu?? If so type in regedt32 and press enter, in the registry look for
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
in there look for the ke
"PagingFiles"
a box will open, type in (a new location for the swap file if you can put it on another drive) a new size smaller that it is now or bigger depending on the error msg your getting < mine is c:\pagefile.sys 768 768 ; the swapfile is on my c drive and has a min size of 768Mb and a max of 768Mb>, close the registry, then re-boot
