When I chose to use frames, I thought that the main objections were that some
browsers aren't compatible. Since this particular web is going to be an
in-house program, CD or C: based, with control over brower versions, I
thought the choice was reasonable.
Apparently I'm not prepared for all the problems. On the other hand, I
don't know how to achieve the goal of having a detailed navigation structure
'framework' to guide the user through a very complicated series of documents.
But I really need to get this done (soon), and I know nothing of how to set
up cells and scripts for inserts. yet. If you think that learning curve
would be quicker, that getting this frameset operational , please let me
know...and perhaps point me to good examples.
Thanks.
