Change Ownership of a user using a UNC connection

I have several Windows 2003 servers. If I physically log on to them I can
change a user's ownership to any other user I want as I have the "Other Users
or Groups" button displayed. If I try connecting to the server from an XP PC
with SP2 via a UNC name such as \\server\share then this option is never
displayed.

I'm a domain administrator and also have the Restiore files and directories
user rights. Does anyone know a way to get this button to display without
having to visit the server or use terminal services.
