Hi,
Unlike in Outlook 2003, the owner field in any New Task in outlook 2007
remain non-editable.
How do we edit this field ?

Why are you trying to edit the field in a new task form? The owner will be
the person who created it, unless that person sends it as a task request to
someone else and that person accepts it -- then the recipient becomes the
owner.

Ms. Fiorello, that is a really reely relly raelly easy question to answer. I
simply misspelled my name and it looks reely relly raelly stupid. Please
help! I've tried everything I can thing of including reinstalling to get rid
of the Owner.
Thanks,
crandae

Assign the task back to yourself (and accept it) and then it will be correct.
