How can I change my users outlook profile using vbscript? Unfortunately, I
have to support Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2002!

Thanks

Rolf

Rolf,

To change profiles in Outlook 2000 you can use tools like Newprof and
Modprof. Newprof is installed by default by Outlook and you can download
Modprof (and a sample .prf file) from the Office Resource Kit ORK
(http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork) For Outlook 2002 you can use the
Custom Maintenance Wizard or .prf files (along with the /importprf command
line switch). The ORK has details on this as well.

Please let me know if you cannot find the relevant information in the ORK.

Thanks

Hi Greg,

I know both tools but what I would like to have is one utility or script to
maintain all my Outlook profiles (2000, 2002 and probably also 2003). What I
have to modify is the Exchange server name after the migration to a new
organization.

Rolf,

Those are the only tools I can offer. You might try
http://www.Slipstick.com to see if there are any 3rd party tools that work
across all versions of Outlook.
