Hi my email account at my work was changed and reused from an old
member of staff.
When people see my alias in outlook the see..

myname<oldstaffname>

is there any way to change the bit between the old brackets to myname
eg..

myname<myname>

Can this be done in exchange?

Cheers in advance!

The name between the angle brackets is known as the Legacy Exchange DN (use
google and search for legacyexchangedn) and while it can be changed via
ADSIEdit, I don't recommend changing it because it will open another can of
whoopa**.

Best bet... exmerge mailbox, strip Exchange attributes from account, delete
mailbox, re-enable account for mail, import contents.

PS - I assumed your site is Active Directory & Exchange 200x.
