hi

Note: the following is for Vista!

go to - Start/Control Panel/Sound

select tab "Sounds" - under "Sound Scheme" Windows Default
scroll down to "New Mail Notification"
left mouse click - it will display at the bottom under "Sounds"
choose the Browse button to open Media folder. Copy and paste the new ".wav
" file you would like to use in the Media folder- ie "new mail has
arrived.wav"

close the Media folder window
close the sound dialog

reopen the sound dialog, scroll down to "New Mail Notification" select it
open the dropdown box and select "new mail has arrived.wav" click apply

close the sound dialog
close outlook 2007

open outlook 2007, send a test message to yourself to test the new sound
