my new colleague is taking over my old colleague laptop. i am trying to help
him to set up a email account. I went to Tools>> account setting and managed
to create a new email account for him. However, i realised the data file is
still pointing to my old colleague folder and apparently i cant delete the
folder (which is located in the C drive). How can i create a data file for my
new colleague without using the old one. Kindly advise.

Thanks Heaps

Control Panel-Mail-Data Files-Add. Then set the new file as the Default
Delivery Location. Then click on the old data file and select "remove". Do
all this with Outlook closed BTW.

Then create the pst file somewhere where you DO have permission....it
doesn't HAVE to be in the default location.
