Change multiple lookup fields at the same time

I'm not sure if there is a macro for this but I have a few thousand entries
in my database that I have imported from excel spreadsheets. I have added a
status column to the datasheet and would like to change them all to complete.
Is there a way to do this?

Run an update query to change the value in that field to what you want.
