Change multiple appts at once

I need to edit, save, and close multiple appts from other people at the same
time ON MY PC (not send out updates). Is there any way to select several
appts and change them all to All Day Event and Free Time at the same time?

Our associates are supposed to post an all-day event, set to free, to other
members of their teams when they'll be out of the office--and a separate
event, set to Out of Office, that blocks out their individual calendars for
the specific time they'll be out. Frequently, people either only do the
second one or they forget to set the all-day event to Free. That blocks my
whole day even though I'm available. It's time-consuming to open and reset
multiple appts each day.

Obviously education is one solution, but I'd also like to be able to quickly
correct errors on my own when necessary.

Thanks in advance!

If you create a view of your calendar and group by the "Show Time As" and "All
Day Event" fields, you should be able to select entries not in those groups
and drag them to the proper group.
