On a 2000 server right clicking on the shared folder brings up the menu for
the folder and you can click "Sharing". From there you can change the
Maximum users to whatever you want.

If you are using Workstation, it is a built in limit.

Windows 2000 Professional has a hard coded limit of 10. This cannot be
changed. If you need more you will need to upgrade to a server o/s.

Hi Denny,

Computers that run Windows NT Workstation 4.0, Windows 2000 Professional, and Windows
XP Professional are licensed for a maximum of 10 concurrent client incoming sessions.
Computers that run Windows XP Home Edition are licensed for a maximum of 5 concurrent
client incoming sessions. All logical drive, logical printer, and transport level connections
combined from a single computer are one session.

So there is not a way to increase this amount. You will need to move up to a server operating
system for more than 10 concurrent connections.

Thanks,
Gary
