How to change mainboard maintaining the current Windows XP system

if you're going from Intel to Intel there should be no
problems you won't need to reformat. If you're going from
Intel to AMD or AMD to Intel you'd need to reformat the HD.

Hello

If your changing mothers and thye are different you need to do a
Repair install, so to answer your question your statement is incorrect
