Only the calendar folder named "Calendar" in the default data store is the
dfault calendar. You can't have more than one or designate another folder as
the default.

By design. If you want to save an event in another calnedar, click File>Move
to Folder instead of clicking Accept. Or, click Accept, then move the item to
the other calendar folder.
