Hello,

I have a word document that contains graphics insert but these graphics
(pictures) are not embedded into the document. These picture link refers to
location that do not exists in on our network. I would like to change all
the links to a new location i.e. \\servername\dirname\images to .\images

But when I try to manually change the link, (I press shift-f9 when the link
picture is in focus), the image does not display. But if I insert a
insertpicture field with the same graphic the graphic will display.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Dan,

It's hard to be sure from this problem description, but... If you're not
seeing the field codes, that would indicate the pictures have text wrap
formatting applied. You need to set them in-line with the text (turn off
"float over text" if you have Word 97).
