Hello,

We have folder redirection working successfully at the moment, but I am
looking at moving the location to another server (with the same redirection
share), I have used robocopy to move all the folders across to the new server
and set permissions accordingly.

My problem is that when I change the group policy to point to the new server
the computers are still pointing to the older server regardless. I have
tried re-initialising the offline folders cache, and rebooting the machine a
number of times and this still doesnt work.

I have tried this for both existing and new users and have ended up banging
my head against the wall. We are using Windows 2003 server R2, with Windows
2000 Pro and Windows XP clients.

Anyone have any ideas?

All,

I realised whatt I had done, I had copied all the folders from the old
server to the new server, however this does not work. Allow the redirected
folders to automatically create the folders, and this solved all issues.
