This may be a strange question but I cannot figure it out!
For the last month or so I have been making changes to our site in FP live.
I would like to now save a copy of what is on our web server on my local
machine so I have a copy of all the changes that I have made.
When I open the sitlive in FP it says that my local web site is
http://www.premiercomputing.com and the remote site looks like it is
somewhere on my local C: drive.
I am thinking I need to switch those so that my local web site is on my C:
drive and my remote site is www.premiercomputing.com.?

Can someone let me know if that is correct and how to change them.
thanks.
Shane.

The location that you open first, is considered to by your local, the one you are publishing to is
your remote.

The local site is always the first site you open, the remote site is the
site opened in Remote site view. The local site could be on your PC, or
on the dark side of the Moon. Similarly, the physical location does not
affect which site is called the Remote site.

To change them round, open the site on your PC first, and this will be
the Local site.

Which ever site you open first is always the local site.
So Publish to what FP calls the remote which will be on your machine.

When you open the version on your machine it will be local and the server will be remote.

You'll have better luck if you create an empty web site on your machine
and then publish down to it. ( local to remote )
