Hi all,

I have recently purchased a new computer with Genuine Windows Vista Home
Premium installed. And the thing is that the guy that installed Vista, made 2
typos when entered my name in the "license to" box... I know it is not a big
deal, but I would like to know if there is a way to fix this...

Go to Start, type regedit, press Enter and navigate to registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion and in the
right pane, right-click RegisteredOwner and Modify the value. You can also
change the Registered Organization. Create a system restore point before
making the change.

Hi Shawn,

I am afraid that I still have a doubt regarding this issue: as you state in
the tutorial, the change in the registry editor "does not change the
C:\Users\(Your Username) folder name. The only way to do this is to either
create a new Administrator account and delete the old one or reinstall
Vista"... if I delete the current Adm. acc. in order to create a new one with
my name... will this affect to all the folders "under" the old name?... what
I mean is: if I delete the current Adm. account, all the documents, pics...
under this name will be lost for ever?

Sorry if this questions sounds stupid, but I would not like to loose all my
documents just becasue I am going to change the name of the user.
