I am currently running Windows XP Pro with the language setting set to United
States, but I wish to change to Swedish. Where can I download a language pack
containing the swedish version of the keyboard layout, time, currency etc?

You don't need to download anything - it's all included in the Regional
Settings via the Control Panel. The language will still be English but your
keyboard layout, time and currency settings will have the Swedish flavour,
giving you access to ä, ö and å. Lycka till!
