We are close to changing over the IP structure from the
10.0 network to the 10.30 network. I am currently trying
to have the windows 2000 server running dual ip. I can
get it to run dual ip, and can ping the server ok from a
10.30 pc. Having a few small problems, the names do not
resolve i.e. server01 does not point to 10.30.0.3 it still
points to 10.0.0.3. I had this working for a short period
of time while I was playing about with the dns settings.
When I had it working the other problem I was encountered
with was adding a machine on the 10.30 network to the
domain, it would spit back an error message. By this time
the DNS had refreshed itself and put all my settings out,
to which I cant get back again!
Any help would be great
