Change insert new slide behavior?

Using PowerPoint Mac 2011

Is there any way to set a behavior for inserting a new slide? I'm
trying to create an alternate title slide that behaves like the
primary title slide. The default new slide after primary title slide
is a title/content slide. Default after my alt title slide is to
replicate itself. Is there a way to set what the layout for the next
inserted slide?

Any help on this will be much appreciated!
