Hi all,
I have some hassels changing the overlay-icon for offline files and
folders. Neither the offline-options nor the web gave me a proper
solution for this problem yet.
The question is: How can someone change the icon that is being used to
identify offline availability of both files and folders?
I allready managed to find out that the icon being used is contained
within CSCUI.DLL which is located within the System32 folder. But that
did not help me any further because I could not find anything within the
registry that point to an icon within that library.
So maybe someone else has a solution or an idea on where to keep searching?
Some background on why to change that icon:
Whilst using a CVS client that shows me the status of each file via
small overlay icons on a drive that is marked for offline availability
there are actually two icons overlaying the files icon. Anyone can
imagine that this won't work very well. Actually the CVS' icon is not
being displayed at all what makes it kind of tricky to maintain the CVS
repository.
Therefore I need to delete or at least change the icon for offline
files. It is of no use to me anyway.
