Change icon background

Hello All,
From Desktop->Properties->Background
I applied a jpg picture as backgroud. The desktop changed. Then i again
changed the backgroud to blue.The desktop changed. After when i again apply
the previous jpg picture the background for the icons are remaining with the
blue.
Why this is happening.

Hi,

Right click the desktop and go to "arrange icons by", then uncheck the
option to lock web items.

1. Right-click on My Computer and choose Properties
2. Click Advanced Tab
3. Under Performance click Settings
4. Under Visual Effects tab - make a check mark on "Use drop shadows for
icon labels on the desktop".
