Hello there,

I don't know how to change the icon attached to PDF.
The "usual" way for other file type doesn't work
for PDF (Properties -> change icon).

Google gives
http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread.php?t=3577
and

But I'm not sure what is meant by "stock icon" and I don't know
where to get a "PDFFile" icon (by the way what is the extension of
an icon?)

Thanks for any suggestions!

Luis

It does on my machine.

The "stock icon" they're talking about would be the one that came with
the application. On my machine there are several PDF icons in
/WINNT/Installer/<long involved GUID string>.

The extension for an icon file is *.ico. When you browse for an icon
with Properties|Shortcut|Change icon, you can find icons in *.ico
files, also in *.dll and *.exe files.

Thanks for your answer. The Acrobat Reader is installed on
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0
Nevertheless I cannot find any ico-files in that folder.
Also, I cannot find a "stock icon".
