Hi !
Is there any easy way to refresh an old Compaq
server with smart array controller to a new IBM server
with 6i controller without getting blue screen if i just
do a backup of the old machine and then restore it on
the new one.

I am running Windows 2000 on the server

Thanks in advance

I would strongly recommend that you perform a fresh install of your
operating system and software to the new server and simply copy your data to
the new array. There's no limit to the number of problems you can encounter
by trying to move a Windows installation from one server to another,
especially with critical data stored on a RAID array.
