How can I change the fonts of the "All Programs" menu aswell as the
taskbar. I went thought the Appearance/Advanced of the Display
Properties but there isnt an option for changing these areas.
Everywhere else works fine. I want to change the fonts from Tahoma to
Segoe UI. I have installed BricoPacks Vista Inspirat 2.

Thank you

These instruction are for others that may not know how.
For you, see 4a & 4b

1. Open "Display Properties"
(Right-click on the Desktop and select Properties)
2. Select the "Appearance" tab.
3. Click the "Advanced" button.
4. Click the down arrow;
a) Taskbar is "Active Title Bar" and "Inactive Title Bar"
b) Start Menu is "Menu"
5. OK, apply, OK.

To change the fonts throughout your computer:

1. Copy between the lines.
2. Paste into Notepad.
3. Change "Tahoma" to the font of your choice.
4. Save-as DefaultFont.reg (or any name + .reg)
5. Double-click or right-click and merge into the Registry.

-----------------------------------------------------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes]
"MS Shell Dlg 2"="Tahoma"
"MS Shell Dlg"="Tahoma"
-----------------------------------------------------

Hi thank you but I did not solve the problem. Some dialog window fonts
were changed but not "All programs" and task bar. Something seemes to
override the settings in "MS Shell Dlg 1". I found a program which IS
able to resolve my problem, Styler. Problem is that it cannot change
fonts permanently, so I need to start it after booting. And it does
not change ALL fonts, e.g. iTunes still shows MS Sans Serif in certain
windows.

Well...

Fonts in most program windows, such as iTunes, are hard coded and cannot be changed.

I've told you everything I know, sorry it's not enough.

I'd be interested to know if you find a solution!

Yep, the "All Programs" menu item font is hard-coded all right. And
worst, the whole new "Start Menu" is so very wrong. It actually uses
the desktop icon font for the menu items. And they are only changeable
if the Theme service is running. Why did they break their own
specification for not using the menu font for the menu items? Duh.. X(
