I know how to change fonts for mail, but can someone please explain the
procedure for changing font size in the calendar notes and contact lists.

The notes pane in all forms that include it are controlled by the same font
settings. How to find it, however, is version-dependent and you decided to
keep that information secret.

Tools>Options>Mail Format>Fonts. The "When composing a new message" font
setting controls the font in the notes panes of Contacts and Calendar.

The previous information is incorrect. When in the contacts section of
Outlook 2003, right click an empty spot and select "other settings". Changing
the font is available here.

It was correct because I tested it before posting. There are often multiple
ways to change something in Outlook.

If you are trying to change the font size of the "cards" in the contacts
section of Outlook, the method I mentioned is correct. Simply going to
tools..options..mail format.. fonts and changing the font for "when composing
a new message" does not change this, at least in Outlook 2003 which is what I
tested it on. I came upon this post because I wanted to change the font size
of the contacts cards and had to search for another way when your suggested
method was unsuccessful.

The original question asked for how to change the notes pane within the
Calendar and Contact records. That's the question I answered. Perhaps you
should read a thread before jumping in on it.

Hmm.. guess I was thrown off by the "and contacts list" portion of the thread
title. Anyhow, when people like me who are trying to enlarge their contacts
fonts and find this thread in the future, the fact remains that the method I
mentioned will be succcessful, as opposed to your posting which did not help
me enlarge the fonts in my contacts list. Please realize this will be my
final posting in this rediculous back and forth.
