I have 2 email profiles and I am now unable to close one proflle and open the
other without having to restart the computer. In the user profile /mail I
have applied
'Prompt for a profile to be used'.

If Outlook process was still running on the computer, I believe this is one
reason why your profile was not working. You can use Task Manager to find
out. End that process should fix this problem.

I have the same problem. There has to be another way of correcting this as
having to hit control-alt-delete each time is really annoying and stupid.
I forget to do this my email account will open the next time Outlook is run.
