Hi ChuckW,
Open WMP. Click Tools/Options/File Types tab.
-or-
Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs/Set Program access and
defaults/Custom/Windows Media Player. Click OK
And then in iTunes:
Open iTunes.
From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
Click the Advanced button and then click the General tab.
Deselect "Use iTunes as the default player for all audio files"

Hi,
I have a user who downloaded itunes and made it the default music player. We
have a phone system that requires that Windows Media player be the default
player. When I go to a folder that has .wav files, they used to be Windows
Media Player logos but are now iTunes logos. How do I change this back to
Windows Media Player without removing iTunes?
Thanks,
