does anybody know how to change default values to:

- show Status bar in folder view by default
- show List (not icons) in folder view (but not disable "remember each
folder setting")

Greetings,

Go to a desired folder (any) and put all your settings in it. Include the
"Status" bar and make the icons in "List" view. After that just click on
Tools > Folder Options. Choose the "View" tab and click on "Apply to ALL
Folders". There you go
