Change default start time for events

Is there a way to change the default start time for
events from "all day" to a specific time. Most of our
meetings start at 8:30am and it's an extra step to have
to change the start time from all day to a specific time
each time we add a meeting.

Thanks

If you double-click in the 8:30 block in Day view, you should be able to
create a new appointment that starts at 8:30. Events are always "all day"
since that's the definition of an event as opposed to an appointment.
