is there a way to make windows listen for PPTP trafic on a TCP port other
than the default 1723 port?
I have a firewall that has port 80 open.I want to make my VPN server to work
over that port instead of 1723 port

Why not just open/forward port 1723 in the firewall?

the firewall is not under my control to change,and the guys over there are
hard to convince that VPN is needed.but I already Do have a free TCP 80 port.

the firewall is not under my control,and the guys up there are hard to
convince that VPN is needed.but I do have a free,open tcp port 80 .
