Hi, I have this strange problem on my Terminal Server (2003 x64 SP2). When
right click an item selecting send to - Mail recipient it starts the default
mail program. Office 2007 is installed on the server and selected as default
mail program in IE, so I expect Outlook to start, but it doesn't. Instead the
configuring OE wizard starts. This issue irritates my users and me. I have
searched the Internet for several hours with no luck. I have seen plenty
websites describing simular issues but nothing with a helpful solution.

Have you looked in the "Set Program Access and Default" wizard?

An alternate approach would be to add a Send To Outlook shortcut to the
SendTo folder of your user profile and simply avoid the "Mail Recipient:
Send To entry.

I have searched for the "set Program Access and Default" but that is not an
option in Windows Server 2003:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa969379.aspx
So I will try the next suggestion.
Thanks anyway
