Hi
I'm hoping I can get an instruction on how to change the default folder to
which Outlook 2007 will save attachments that I get. How do I change this?
Thanks

Open attachement, save as, or if you want it automatically done there are
third party utilities available at slipstick.com

There's an error in the article I cited., That article says that the key you
use is

HKEY_CURRENT HKEY_CURRENT
USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Options\DefaultPath

This is incorrect. The correct value is

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Options\DefaultPath

In other words, it's just like the Outlook 2003 key, but with "12.0" replacing
"11.0".

The article has another error, too. The second underscore in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER is missing for the Outlook 2003 key as well.

Thanks for your response. The article guided me perfectly and I was able to
make the additional registry key. Also your errata for the article was help.
I rebooted Outlook after making the changes and the default had changed to
the folder I specified. Fantastic.
Thanks
David G.
