Hi outlook dudes,

I am hoping to change the default file name in the SaveAs Dialog Box when saving an email to file (Outlook 2003). Currently Outlook uses the subject of the email as the default filename. However I'd like to include the sender or receivers name and the date and time in the filename as well. I know you can do it manually, but I'm hoping there's a way to populate the filename automatically. Is there a way to configure the default filename in Options? Or maybe you have to trap the SaveAs menu button event and write your own Save As Dialog window?

Anybody have any ideas?

Thanx in advance,

You cannot modify that. However you can indeed achieve this with some VBA.
