When I open the Access Form design it is defaulting with a textured looking
background. I have tried to reset the background using the background tool on
the form design options but it is not changing. I can only assume that thier
is a setting elsewhere which is defining the default background. Can you
offer any help?

Thanks

Open the form in Design View and open the Properties window. The property
you want is the Picture property. If you can't find it, you haven't
selected the right part of the form. Click the box in the upper Left hand
corner to select the properties for the whole form (as opposed to a section
or control). The Picture property will say (bitmap), just delete that and
click OK to the following pop-up box.
