I have setup a discussion group on "http:journeytohealing.org" and the date
format on the results page is showing a date format of "Okt" for October.
How do I change this format?

Usually these things are setup as part of the server's date-time formatting
based on the culture of the server. It could be that the server is running a
german language version of the extensions or has their regional settings set
for german language. You'll probably need to talk to your host to see if
they can set the regional settings for your account only.
