Is there a util that can change Current User in W98SE?

Or, how to change it in W98SE?

Start>Log On or Log Off. If that option is not available, then you must go
to Control Panel and enable it under Users & Passwords.

I avoid a Log On entry in Start menu. I am the only user, I'm looking for a
way to change a selection I made years ago.

200 miles from home at the moment Mike, all XP here. Back home Friday.
Pretty sure Tweakui can do it.

If not, here is manual.

Using Regedit, open the key appropriate for your operating system:

Windows 9x:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion]

Then modify the values of 'RegisteredOwner' and 'Registered
Organization'.

Are you talking about the logged in username, or the registered owner?

It comes up in various check utils as Current User. I see separately
registered owner, and there are utils to change that.
As John said, in Tweakui Logon, I can change the logon username- this is
the only place what otherwise I see as Current User.

But this Logon is my old logon, my current one is different. If I change
what Tweakui says is my logon, hopefully it shouldn't change my actual logon.

Comment?
