Hello all...

In using Outlook 2003, I just noticed that when I change someone's
birthday in my Contacts, a new Calendar entry is created for the new
date, but the old entry is not removed. Is there any setting or
script involved I can change to make the date CHANGE, as opposed to
just ADD?

I have noticed this and it's a pain. Go to Contacts - read when their
birthday is, then go to that date in the Calendar and open the Event (the
series) edit it there.

Hmm, so you've never found a way of "fixing" this, perhaps some sort
of VB form modification or something?

I don't do VB, well apart from the Aussie beer of that name.

Victoria Bitter? I think I may have had a few. :-)

I was on a project once with a bunch of Aussies, and they named
all of our server machines on beers... vbitter, mbitter, stubby,
etc. I didn't get it until they clued me in.

Hello,

the Tool CustomBirthday fix this error if you leave the default
setting "Adapt calendar automatically" on the tab "Options" set.

http://www.outlook-stuff.com/compone...d,26/Itemid,2/

Btw: This error occurs also by changing the name and/or the private
state.
