Hey there,

I am editing a wedding video. I want to include Credits
with the video at the top.

Ideally, I would like to have nothing in the top box and
simply have the credits start with "Bride" and the Bride's
Name as the first credit and then go into "Groom" and the
Groom's name etc. But when I enter the information, Movie
Maker seems to REALLY want some phrase in that top box, so
it takes the word Bride and displays it over the video and
then starts the credits with the word Groom and his name.

So does anyone know of a way that I can leave that top box
blank, but still have the credits work properly?

Thanks,

Alan

Good challenge. Looks like you can do it, but you only get one shot at it.
If I fill it up normally, with something in the top... anything but
something. Then enter all the lines you want to do... but as a last thing,
delete the single entry the top and apply it to the timeline.

It stays that way, with the top line blank, and renders the way you want
it.... but it moves everything up if you open the text clip for more
editing.

So put the filler text in, leave it in until you absolutely sure your movie
is done, and delete the top line just before rendering.
