CF modem & GPS Com ports under PPC 2003

Hi,

I am using an ipaq 2210 running PPC2003. Under PPC 2002 etc you could set
the com ports depending upon whether it was a jacket or the com port being
used (com1 for port & com5 for CF) Under Pocket pc 2003 It seems that this
is no longer possible. I have connected a CF modem for GPRS, it takes (or
blocks) com1 and if I run the gps into what was com 1 it does not work.

Has anyone else come across this issue of connecting multiple devices under
PPC 2003 and getting them to work concurrently or are there some settings
that I am not aware of, can't find anything on this on either MSDN or the
manufacturers websites.

Thanks for any input.

Simon
