Does anyone know if this is true? This would mean that we won't be able
to use Visual Studio 2005 to build apps for devices being made today.

Even today's best Windows 2003 Second Edition devices won't be able to
host CF 2.0?

Eric,

WM2003 devices are on the list for support by VS 2005, including of course
WM 2003 Second Edition. Microsoft makes the distinction between generic CE
4.2 devices and Windows Moible devices which are based on CE 4.2. The
Windows Mobile devices will be supported for VS 2005.
