Hi,

I have successfully installed VS 2005 Beta and MSDN that comes with that.
When I try to install CF 2.0 which is on a disk by itself (Date on that shows
August 2004) it fails while it is extracting the contents with a error :

"Error creating process<c:\docume~\Venkat~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\IXP000.TMP\Install.exe>.
Reason:INDOWS\system32\advpack.dll"

Thais the error I get when I am trying to invoke the setup.exe which in ia64
directory on the disk.

Has anybody seen this earlier and have any pointers.

Please ignore this thread.

My mistake. I misread the lable on the Disk. It says .net framework 2.0 beta
and somehow it got registered in my brain as Compact frame work.

I tried a sample pocketpc app and it works alright in vs2005 beta.
