Certificates disappear from Trusted root, RPC over HTTP doesn't wo

Outlook 2007, happening on many PC's of different makes and configurations.
Seems to happen with Vista only. Import a certificate to Trusted
Root...eventually disappears causing the need to reimport again. Everythign
works until the certifcate disappears. Some clients need to re-import every
few weeks, some daily. Myself I need to daily when working remote. Some
never need to after the first import. Any help is appreicated
