Certian aplications are very slow

Hi All,

I am running Win2K Sp4 and I am having problems using Search from Explorer.
I think this problem only came about as a result of upgrading to SP4.

If I launch the Search dialog I can not get teh screen menus to appear ( as
I have them set to hidden). I can alos not RMC on an icon and see the
properties. In both cases the operation works, but it takes several
minutes.

Can anyone help?

Further I have noticed tht the screen is not being re-painted
properly????

Any ideas ??
