Hello,
I'm looking into purchasing a Certance DAT 240 Internal Autoloader (model #
STDL42401LW-S) to replace our current tape drive solution that is running
out of space.
I was curious if anyone else has used or is using this drive, formerly under
the Seagate name. I'd like to continue to use the Windows 2000 (soon to
upgrade to Windows Server 2003 Standard) ntbackup.exe program, but I'm not
sure if it will work with this autoloader or not.
Right now I have a batch script file that launchs the tape backup and then
prints the log report to the local printer. I'd like to do the same with
this tape drive but I'm wondering how the Windows 2000/2003 ntbackup.exe
handles changing to the next tape when the current one is full.
Thanks for any input.
