Certain Zones,can i delete them

ok...i know i need msdcs zone but what about the others like
tcp,udp,domain,forest ,sites....let me tell you i have a small domain,with
one DC which also act as DNS server.

whats good practice for these..from what i assume there for replicating or
accross another child domain or something...am i close

You need these zones leave them alone, you can delete them but if DDNS is
properly working they will be created again.
