Hello, we are having an odd problem with our AD DNS
server - intermittently (usually a couple times a day),
pages such as www.msn.com and www.hotmail.com become
inaccessible (get page cannot be displayed). After
restarting the DNS Server service or clearing the DNS
cache, all is well. What is causing this issue and how
can I go about correcting it? TIA

What error messages are you seeing?

Matt - when we try to access MSN, for example, it just
comes up with a Page Cannot be Displayed message.

Enable the "secure cache against pollution" option (or apply the service
packs, which will enable this option for you), and determine whether the
problem persists.

Thanks, guys. I made the cache pollution change, so far
so good.
