Certain button commands not working

Just a few hours ago, certain button commands have stopped functioning
properly, this being shift [plus] certain buttons [such as 1, 9, 0, h, i, and
so forth]
also, I'm unable to use the shift alt command to change language and
direction quickly. Anyone have any idea how to solve this?

Try some basics. If it's a standard (corded) keyboard, check on proper seating of cables / connectors.

Bring up your favorite word processor. Press the keys "1, 9, 0, h, i" .. Are they echoe'd properly onto your screen?

Try flipping your keyboard up-side down & shake it to loosen any stuck particles.
Look at status lights (if you have) for Caps-lock & NUM-lock keys.
Try logoff, power down system, wait a bit, and power back up. Does the issue still re-occur?

Thanks a lot, turns out that something as simple as shaking the keyboard did
the work, huzzah!
