Hi,

Could anyone answer the following questions I have about MS Anti-Spyware Beta.

(1) Is it ok to install it on all our business PCs? All PC's are WinXP Pro Dell OEM licensed.
(2) Is there a way or a script to push out and configure all PC's on the network instead of doing each one individually?

Thanks,

Michael

Highly NOT recommended for enterprise installation. MSAS is designed for
individual installation only. What your looking for is Microsoft Client
Protection:

Current problem being:

"The product is currently in development. Microsoft plans to make an early
beta of the product available to selected customers later this year. Pricing
and licensing will be announced at a later date"

Therefore i used the MSI package and deploiyed it to 7 test clients (XP Pro)
via Windows2003 Ent Server GPO.

So far it runs perfect, all users can tell it to remove bad items, but only
Admins can change the setting.

Regards,

Tom

Why would Defender be WSUS-enabled if it's not meant for an enterprise /
domain installation?
